Psychosomatic Basic Care

The AEPM promotes the acquisition of knowledge and experience in Psychosomatic Basic Care for medical doctors from all specialties. Structered courses by highly qualified teachers lead to the Diploma in Psychosomatic Basic Care. These courses are offered in different time schedules in order to enable participation according to individual preferences.

Courses are held in Riga (Latvia), Berlin (Germany), Regensburg (Germany) and Graz (Austria).

Doctor-patient relationship
Basics of doctor-patient communication and consultation
Biographic case histery
Psychosocial health care facilities
Legal basics
Basics in public health/social issues in medicine 

40 - units Balint/supervision group and training in doctor-patient communication (incl.10 units verbal intervention)

100 - units Practice in the context of medical work with patients
